Its big reveal time today and we are more than excited to share how this amazing space turned out for our 5th Destination Nursery Kids Room Makeover winner Shavonne Updike and her darling daughter Haven from Arizona.
We are so thankful for the brands and sponsors who made this opportunity possible for this wonderful family! A special thanks to, Newport Cottages, New arrivals Inc., Layla Grayce, Bratt Decor, Sweet Grace Art, Skoope Home, Junk Art Gypsyz, and the rusted arrow. Shavonne was able to take the items given to her and expound on our initial concept for a modern vintage kids space. The dimension she added to the main wall, with pop out triangles is so fabulous, as well as the special little reading nook she made from a simple ikea bookcase! Each area of her room is so much fun, we love all the attention to detail. The large hand made peg board above the desk is awesome, Shavonne’s husband created it from scratch. Wow! We also love the lockers used as a dresser to stack Haven’s clothes. Genius!
Shavonne also extended the black and white modern vintage theme into the fun jack and jill style bathroom Haven shares with her little brother as well as redid haven’s darling little closet space. Great work Shavonne…it’s absolute perfection!
